These are our good friends, I’lls’. They’ve just been put on the 2011 Parklife lineup, and from their one gig so far, they’re fantastic. Check out their demo, and attend their next gig at Wild Things on July 1st!

u guys rawk.
hey guys, been a while since there’s been a proper blog post on here. there hasn’t been much to report on, unfortunately - just been playing gigs. we played a show on Saturday night where Jayden (our singer) left half our gear in a locked house, and we had to improvise instrumentation to make it work. somehow, it did! so I think we all gained some valuable knowledge over the weekend for next time.
while not strictly See Hear Say related, the picture above is a screencap of the recently finished master of James’ (our main keyboardist) new EP. recorded/mixed/mastered by me (Ony, “beatsmith”) and soulfully performed and sung by James himself, the end product is now available online for free! have a listen here and see if you enjoy:

if you dug that, download the whole EP at James’ bandcamp page:

lastly, O’bri (our guitarist) has started running a successful recording studio out in Tullamarine, in amongst factories and cars. the acoustics in there are great and with top mics and recording experience, y’all should head down there for your next recording binge. ask him about it on facey:

that’s fin for now! in the next month we’ll be heading back to recording stuff, possibly even producing a music video for a song we’re yet to decide on, at a location that is also yet undecided. but we’ll keep everyone posted!
thanks for da love. <3

silverdollarsunlimited asked: You've earned yourselves a new listener... I'm loving your tracks.
aww, thank you. we’ve always thought highly of your band too, you write great music! looking forward to some more gigs together soon, that’s for sure.
we had a blast. so many consistently good crowds, it was crazy. if I recall correctly, we have a fortnight off from gigs now, so who knows, maybe another recording will surface in that time!

yo.
finished the last rehearsal before our 161 gig a mere hour ago, things are sounding tight. if you’re planning on heading down to Prahan for this classy shindig tomorrow, you may find that all of the above songs will be played in that precise order, perhaps in the form of a setlist! if these are some of your favourite songs, well then you better believe you’re gonna have a fun night.
we’ve also been booked to play a gig at After Dark Social Club on the 14th of May, so if you’re a fan of Roxanne’s Parlour, this will also be a fun night for you. lots of fun nights.
oh yeah, and if you mention “the See Hear Says” at the door tomorrow night (not our actual name, just roll with it), not only will you get discount entry, but we get paid more! if enough people mention us, that is. this profit then in turn gets invested into more crazy digital gear for the band, thus improving the overall quality of your listening experience in the long run. it’s a good deal, I’ve worked it out.
hope to see you all sometime soon!
we’re trying to implement all (yes, ALL) of your ideas from tumblr, twitter and facebook to some degree. will post progress at some point in the future!
in other news, I’d like to point out we have a lot of Same Place singles still remaining, and even a few of our eponymous EPs lying around here and there. since the order section of the website is still under construction, send us a message if you want either of these things, or email orders@seehearsay.net. get ‘em while they’re free!

tell me you don’t want 5 of these babies occupying your shelf space.
